All our handpainted ducks are created by artists and celebrities and are unique art pieces. With Painted Duck Parade we raise awareness for 'Stichting Het Vergeten Kind'.
Het Vergeten Kind is committed to helping children in the Netherlands who are having a hard time because there are many problems at home. These children should feel seen and heard. They should live in a safe and stable place so they can develop positively and find their own place in society. 10% of Painted Duck Parade net parade profits are donated.
What about the duck?
Ducks are often esteemed as a symbol of good luck, harmony and prosperity. They emphasize the importance of being content with one’s life and remaining true to one’s nature.
A duck symbolizes good fortune, good health and good news, as they are to bring luck and abundance to those who embrace their symbolism.
Ducks are also associated with instinct, innocence and childhood, reminding us to stay in touch with our inner child and listen to our intuition in times of uncertainty.
